Underserved populations. Complex services. Forgotten markets. There’s a lot of room for heart, skill, and work ethic in healthcare.
Together, we make a Greater difference.
The healthcare community is full of good people. They are wonderful caregivers, companies, and institutions eager to make a lasting impact.
We turn the good Greater through:
We go after challenges that have no easy answer. Each Greater Company serves a focused, specific need, and inspires others to find their hero within.
Good enough is neither good nor enough. Our signature Training With Care™ live-lab platform leaves every team member a Greater caregiver than we met them.
Our leadership freely advises owners, operators, and municipalities. When
we learn something the hard way,
we transmit it in an easier way.
When we find companies doing good work, we leverage our infrastructure, expertise, and economics to enable
them to serve in more and better ways.
Everything we do is in pursuit of the greater good. In partnership with worthy institutions, we help support charitable projects in communities of need.
With five companies united around one mission, we wield the power to make an exponential impact on society at large.

Among Joseph's many talents is his innate ability to develop solutions for the most complex patient cases. Such creativity, coupled with his 10+ years in the business, has helped propel Greater Companies to a leadership position in the healthcare world.
As President, Joseph fulfills several roles including strategizing on existing and emerging programs, configuration of long-term company outlooks, anticipation of future challenges, and development of care-based solutions.
He regularly collaborates with the senior management team to set goals and aspirations for the agency, ensuring its continued viability and growth. Joseph pioneered Greater NY Nursing's Training with Care™ program-which is the most effective program of its kind -as another way that his company makes a Great nurse even Greater.
That notion of extending life, day in and day out, inspires Joseph's extraordinary dedication and drive. In his own words, "There is nothing more motivating than the experience of speaking with families who fully expect to say goodbye to their loved ones-only to see their lives extended for many weeks, months, even years." At home, Joseph lives by the motto: make a difference every day.
Beyond spending time with his precious family, he loves to pursue ongoing industry education and performs extensive charity work, providing aid for families of the hospitalized as well as many other organizations worldwide.
For decades, Shloime Weiss has been lending his midas touch to missions that matter.
“I could have gone into selling shoes, cars, homes—anything really. But it’s my passion to help people. That’s what I focus on.”
Shloime’s work at GNY is no exception. He dedicates a large portion of his time to building and maintaining relationships with the group’s many partners—from vendors to physicians to insurance carriers. Through it all, his focus is on the people: the clients that need Greater support, and the compassionate caregivers that devote their lives to providing it.
When he’s not building connections between individuals, he’s creating stronger opportunities for the team as a whole. His over two decades of experience in business development have lent him the skill and expertise to streamline growth in every area of GNY’s structure, from human resources to sales and marketing. Yet, despite his industry prowess, he remains one of the most compassionate individuals we have ever had the privilege of working with.
When he’s not making people smile at work, he’s usually inspiring kindness elsewhere as a mentor and board member at many highly esteemed nursing schools and colleges. His goal is to create a community of compassion for those in need and those who care for them.
